How It Works

Spray foam is a two-component, water-blown insulation that’s sprayed into a building’s frame cavity (for example, a roof rafter or stud wall). On contact, the foam quickly expands to fill the entire space, even tiny gaps and cracks. After the product has expanded, excess material is cut away, allowing for any necessary drywall installation.

Ideal locations for spray foam insulation include:

• Exterior and interior walls
• Rim joists
• Cathedral ceilings
• Knee walls
• Floors over garages
• Roof decks
• Under stairs
