Happy New Year! Our year in review and looking ahead

Another trip around the sun... Time goes fast, doesn't it? In the midst of the holiday whirlwind, we hope you've had a moment or two to reflect on 2018 and set your intentions for the year ahead.

Last year was successful for E3. We continued our efforts to help homeowners solve their challenging home performance dilemmas and improve the quality of existing homes in the Nashville area. In April, Erik won the Sustainable Tennessee Award, presented by the Tennessee Environmental Council. We also completed a large research project with USGBC-TN that helped organize the state's building codes and identified opportunities to improve the performance of the new homes built in Tennessee. We shared these results at the National Home Performance Coalition conference in Philadelphia and around the state (including Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Memphis). We even participated as a judge in the Race to Zero student design completion at the National Renewable Energy Lab (hosted by the DOE) in Golden, Colorado! It was a busy, but exciting year!

With new opportunities and challenges ahead, we look forward to improving our services by bringing new diagnostic tools to our assessments, which will offer our clients more insight into their home's indoor air quality. And, as always, we will continue to find the best products on the market to create smart, healthy, and comfortable homes for our community.

Our intention for 2019 is to reach more homeowners who are concerned about the health of their home and indoor air quality and provide them with integrated, long-lasting solutions. We will also continue to do our part to educate the community with home tours, workshops, blogs, and stories.

Speaking of stories, we recently had an article featured in Home Energy: The Home Performance MagazineCLICK HERE to read the full story.
