Don’t wait until you are left with an emergency replacement.

HVAC systems inevitably fail during the hottest or coldest days of the year, leaving homeowners scrambling to get a new unit as quickly as possible. When this happens, E3 can provide you with a fast installation of a replacement unit. However, if you wait until your unit fails, there is little time for proper design and considerations. An HVAC system is an investment that will last 15-20 years if properly sized and maintained, so it is important to install a system that serves your home the way you need it to.

Here are six signs that it may be time to replacing your HVAC system:

  • Your system is making more noise than usual.
  • Your system runs more often that usual.
  • Some rooms in your home feel too hot or too cold.
  • The air coming from the registers no longer feels hot or cold.
  • Your home feels unusually humid and stuffy.
  • Your system needs frequent repairs.
  • Your energy bills are higher than usual.

Did you know? A bigger system is not always the answer.

Air conditioning and heating systems perform best when they are the right size for your home. Having a system that is too big or too small can quickly deteriorate performance, comfort, and indoor air quality. In fact, oversized HVAC systems, a common problem in both old and new homes, can contribute to high indoor humidity levels. Installing the wrong size can lead to problems down the road and trigger maintenance issues that require frequent air conditioner repair.

E3 INNOVATE will find your perfect system. We implement the industry sizing procedure, which includes the Manual J, S, D, and T. These steps allow us to:

  1. Calculate how much heating and cooling your home needs (J)
  2. Find the right-sized system (S)
  3. Design a matching duct system, if needed (D)
  4. Find the correct air registers to ensure the right amount of air flow to each room. This four-step process ensures your equipment is optimized for your home (T)

Save money and more.

Benefits of having the right size and type of HVAC unit include:

  • A more comfortable home.
  • A more durable home.
  • Fewer costly HVAC repairs.
  • Decreased operating costs.
  • Decreased installation costs.
  • Less pollution emitted into the environment.

FAQS

Do you offer free estimates?

E3 does not provide free estimates. Before we provide a quote, we start with the Manual J process, described above. This industry standards is used to determine the best sized HVAC unit for your space and needs, often saving consumers money by recommending smaller, more efficient units.

To get started, we offer a low-cost on-site HVAC consultation with one of our builidng scientists that will review your exisitng system and provide general recommendations for new systems and discuss the potenial for tax credit and utility rebates.

What type of systems do you install?

Once we complete a sizing calculation, E3 provides a customized set of options for your home. We focus on providing and installing high efficiency equipment. Generally, we recommend one of three options: 1) high-efficiency conventional LENNOX systems, 2) ductless Mitsubishi mini-split systems, or in special cases 3) WaterFurnace geothermal systems.  However, our load calculations can be used with any brand.

What are the benefits of conventional HVAC systems, ductless mini-splits and geothermal?

High efficiency conventional systems: Allow you to optimally utilize the existing duct systems in your home. Save money, time, and energy!

Ductless mini-split system: These mini-splits are a great option for heating and cooling a targeted area of the property without the expense and inefficiency of a duct system. Say goodbye to inconsistent indoor temperatures.

Geothermal HVAC: The most renewable and earth-friendly option to heat and cool your home. Drawing heat from the earth, geothermal systems are the next solar panels of this generation.

No matter what type of system you're considering, E3 can provide the services you need to achieve lasting comfort, clean indoor air, reliable durability, high performance, and energy efficiency.
